analyst firms such as Gartner Group, Hurwitz, McKinsey,
Aberdeen, Forrester, AMR Research, and IDC, CMO was killed in
January 2006 and the link above now redirects to CIO.com.
Michael Friedenberg, president-CEO of CXO Media,
said the company was “exploring multiple options to continue
the dialogue with readers and advertisers under a different
business model,” but apparently the "exploration" went nowhere.
